7As College of Science and Technology holds the view that science, and technology is an indispensable tool in harnessing resources of nature for sustainable development and creating an environment in which human beings can survive and realize their potential. Thus, the human person has the moral obligation to creatively improve the environment. This can be achieved through a well-conceptualized educational, scientific and technological package through which every human being must rightfully experience and acquire the tools to facilitate this mission.
7As College of Science and Technology has a total student population of 102 and staff strength of 24 comprising of 14 teaching staff. The school was approved by the Ghana Education Service in July, 2014 by the Director General and subsequently obtained approval from West Africa Examination Council. The school currently serves as centre for WAEC examinations.
The first batch of 16 students has successfully completed the Junior High School level in June, 2016 and sat for the West Africa Examination Council BECE examination.
The college is strict bordering school with modern teaching and learning facilities and materials. The school has two separate dormitories with capacity of 120 beds that provide residential accommodation for the male and female students admitted to the school. The school has a 6-unit class room block, a science laboratory which is yet to be furnished with the requisite facilities as well as an ICT laboratory and recreational facilities such as football, basketball and volleyball pitch. A temporal dining hall facility and a staff bungalow for the domestic staff. The school has a 36-acre land of which 6 acres have been fully utilised for the projects.
The college provides a disability friendly environment which promotes equity and inclusion. The college provides religious freedom with discipline and decorum.
